Typically, the local church provides about 2 hours of actual teaching time a week. This includes, sermon, Sunday School, and Youth Group. Over the course of a year, that's a 104 hours of instruction. The typical School which meets for 180 days, provides over 1000 hours of instruction. The key to engaging and preserving our culture is not only in the planting of churches, but in the planting of schools. Classical Christian education can be a key partner in this process.
